KC conductor Bruffy hauls in more Grammy nominations

Make that three more Grammy nominations for Kansas City choral conductor Charles Bruffy. Bruffy, musical director of the Kansas City Symphony Chorus as well as the Kansas City Chorale and the Phoenix Chorale, last year landed five Grammy nominations for a recording of Russian liturgical music, and in February scored a winner for best engineering of a classical album. In Grammy nominations announced Wednesday night, Bruffy earned three nominations for two recordings.
