If you’re a big fan of the TV show “The Office,” stay far, far away from “The Rocker.” It could forever ruin your appetite for Dwight Schrute.
Most of the nearly 1,400 fans who showed up seemed prepared for a spectacle. That's what they got.

It’s hard to keep a legendary local burger down … So it is that after months of handwringing over its pending demise, Sedalia’s Wheel Inn Drive In is back in action, even if as a best-kept-secret to most Cowtowners.
As soon as I walked in the door, he greeted me with a hug and a kiss. He’s been in his new place for only two weeks, but he’s already comfortable. He’s a lot calmer than I thought a race dog would be.
I am having trouble with a roof by All-American Roofing in Olathe. Shingles are falling off because, I believe, of faulty application.

The Lyric Opera of Kansas isn’t exactly going to the dogs. It just needs dogs. Two dogs, in fact. Dogs that are cute and, presumably, well behaved. The opera company will hold dog auditions from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday Aug. 26.
